Nobody ever returns to the same place. Lubię Brusa is the second release by BOMBA W TORCIE following their 20 year hiatus. Previously known for their explosive combination of grindcore, metal and punk, in 2019 the band is defining a new level of intensity.

This well-balanced EP consists of two compositions: the sensual and heavy Hormona and the impetuous Lubię Brusa. Both songs are based on the high interdependence of guitar and bass, which results in riffs particularly rich in harmonics. This new music is more harsh and powerful, yet still catchy and subversive, just like before.

The lyrics of BWT now are more political and also somewhat more intimate. The surrealistic poetics are based on what is the best about this band – its own perverse mythology, now enhanced with new character and content. This idiosyncratic satire perfectly complements the earlier style of depicting the world that BWT has created.

The recordings were made by the original line-up, with one exception. As Kładziw has serious problems with sleep, the band signed a contract with a new guitarist, the legendary Sony Bumm, best known from Kandynski and Deporter. The man has turned out to be very nice and great, actually, quite unlike the other people.

Nikt nie wraca w to samo miejsce. „Lubię Brusa” to drugi materiał nagrany przez BWT, co ciekawe po 20 letniej drzemce. Wcześniej znani z eksplozywnej kombinacji grindcore’a, metalu i punka, w 2019 roku grupa definiuje dla siebie w tym obszarze nowy wymiar intensywności.

Epkę równoważą dwie kompozycje: zmysłowa i ciężka „Hormona” oraz żywiołowy i szybki „Lubię Brusa”. Oba utwory opierają się na dużej współzależności partii gitary i basu, których integracja tworzy głębię harmoniczną riffów. Nowa Bomba jest bardziej szorstka i potężna, ale wciąż przebojowa i przekorna.

Przekaz tekstowy grupy odnalazł kolejny poziom odniesienia, bardziej polityczny, ale i prywatny zarazem. Surrealistyczna poetyka odwołuje się do tego co w Bombie najlepsze - własna mitologia, która wzbogacona jest teraz o nowych bohaterów i treści. Osobliwa satyra uzupełnia metody obrazowania bombowego świata.

Nagrań dokonano w pierwotnym składzie, z jednym wyjątkiem. Jako, że Kładziw ma poważne problemy ze snem, zespół podpisał kontrakt z nowym gitarzystą legendarnym Sonym Bumm’em, znanym dotychczas z Kandynski, czy Deporter. Człowiek ten okazał się przy tym bardzo miły i nie taki jak inni, tylko super.
